Choose the right airdrop directory
Curated directories such as Airdrops.io, AirdropAlert and AirdropBob focus on campaign discovery. CoinMarketCap and DappRadar add established product ecosystems, while CryptoRank and DropsTab are useful for drop-hunting and research workflows.
Prepare a complete submission kit
Provide the official domain and social accounts, network, token contract when available, start and end dates, eligibility, task steps, reward calculation, excluded jurisdictions, vesting and claim timing. Screenshots and short copy should match the live terms exactly.
Separate confirmed rewards from speculation
Label a campaign confirmed only when the issuer has published explicit terms. Testnet, points and retroactive activity may lead to rewards but should be marked potential. Never turn community speculation into a guaranteed allocation or price claim.
Protect participants from wallet drainers
An airdrop should never require a seed phrase or private key. Users should verify the domain, inspect wallet permissions, avoid unlimited approvals where possible and use a low-value wallet for unfamiliar applications. Urgent direct messages and surprise claim links are strong warnings.
Monitor edits and impersonation
After publication, watch for copied domains, fake support accounts, altered contracts and misleading ads. Keep a canonical campaign page, publish change notices, and give portals a security contact so compromised links can be removed quickly.
Measure quality—not wallet count alone
Track eligible users, completed verified actions, Sybil filters, retained product usage and support load. Large bot-heavy participation can inflate vanity numbers while harming genuine users and the project treasury.
